Bio
A recent transplant to the bay area, David Douglas has led bands and done his own solo work for the past 8 years around the midwest. His latest record, entitled "Those Aren't Weapons, They're My Shoes" is a genre spanning effort including explorations of country, jazz, reggae, punk, some avant garde crazinesss, and good old fashioned rock and roll. The songs are eleven different stories told by eleven different personae, ranging from the father of a new born to a terminally diagnosed patient.
According to Douglas: "The songs on this record hopefully reflect my passion for all styles of music, and it was a lot of fun writing from the different character's perspectives. These vignettes are all little insights into my splintered outlook on life"

Entitled "Those Aren't Weapons, They're My Shoes". Eleven songs dealing with people's stories and the shoes they find themselves in as they live out their stories. You can buy the whole album for 9.99 or if you think that some songs are lame you can buy them as singles for 99 cents. Neat.
cheers,
dd
